Dr. Bella Lockhart (they/them) is originally from the Midwest having grown up in Iowa and attended the University of Minnesota for animal sciences and behavioural biology. In 2024, Dr. Lockhart graduated from the University of London, Royal Veterinary College where they developed a passion for preventative care and behavioural medicine as well as working with exotic pets, especially reptiles and small mammals.  

They recently moved to Portland with their cat Cleo and corn snake Udon, and they can't wait to explore a new city and the great outdoors. In their free time, Dr. Lockhart enjoys baking, reading, and discovering new restaurants and museums.
