Dr. Erickson received her veterinary degree in 1986 from Oregon State University. She grew up on Long Island, New York and earned a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from Long Island University in 1975. She did research on Arctic Seals for six years at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where she received a PhD. In 1981 she realized veterinary medicine was her true calling. She now lives in a rural area south of Portland with her four cats. Her special areas of interest in veterinary medicine include the internal medicine of dogs and cats, care of geriatric pets, and dentistry. Back to Our Staff page. |
