Dr. Karen Davies attended and graduated from Oregon State University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in the year 2000. She also attended the University of Washington, where she pursued her interest of science and received her Bachelors of Science in Zoology.

She has always been interested by the world of science, the practice of medicine and it's ways of healing, but most importantly she has always had a special spot in her heart for all kinds of animals. At Pet Samaritan she treats each animal with a gentle hand whether it be a dog, cat, avian or pocket pet. She decided that practicing veterinary medicine was her true calling when she realized she could put all of her interests into one career.

Dr. Davies grew up in the Pacific Northwest and lives with her husband, daughter, their 3 dogs, and 2 cats. She has recently started to feel the urge to adopt a horse from a local horse rescue!
